Meet The Groomer

Passion, Love & Commitment
Some careers are chosen, while others find us in ways we never expected. Grooming wasn’t part of my plan, but looking back, I can see how every step led me right to it. There was a time in my life when I needed a service dog, and with that came challenges in finding work that could accommodate both of us. It was a difficult season, one filled with uncertainty, but in the midst of it, God opened a door I never would have considered. I was given the opportunity to apprentice as a groomer, and from the very first time I held the shears, something clicked. What started as a necessity quickly became a passion—one that felt like it was always meant for me. Now, with over 4 years of experience in the grooming industry, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
In many ways, this love for animals has been with me since childhood. My mom used to call me “Dr. Dolittle” because I was always surrounded by animals, drawn to them in a way that felt natural. When I was five, I would spend hours grooming my family’s golden retriever, Mason—brushing him, bathing him, and even trimming his coat here and there. I didn’t know it then, but those small, loving moments were just the beginning of what would become my life’s work.
I love working with both cats and dogs alike, offering a gentle hand, patience, and care to every pet that walks through my doors—from the young and spry to the cranky seniors.
Grooming isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s an art, a craft, and above all, an act of love. I believe in humanity over vanity—meaning I will always prioritize your pet’s comfort and well-being over achieving a “perfect” groom. If a pet is anxious or nervous, I take extra time to help them feel safe. If they’re aggressive, I do my best to work with them, finding ways to make the experience as calm as possible.
My faith plays a big role in how I approach my work. While my journey into grooming started from an unexpected hardship, I now see it as one of the greatest blessings God has given me. I get to care for His creatures, to make them feel loved, cherished, and comfortable. It’s my way of giving back, honoring the unconditional love that animals give so freely.
Outside of grooming, I have a love for the arts. I paint and sell custom pet portraits, capturing the beauty of animals beyond the grooming table. I’ve also played the cello for over ten years, but my newest passion is ballroom dancing—particularly smooth styles like the waltz, foxtrot, and tango. After a full day of grooming, you’ll often find me gliding across the dance floor, unwinding in a completely different kind of artistry.
As for my own little pack, I share my home with a wonderful mix of pets. My semi-retired service dog, Mr. Baxter, is a gentle giant who loves snuggles and being pampered (and yes, I frequently dye his chest hair fun colors—he loves the attention!). I also have three amazing cats: Ophelia, a food-loving orange tabby who proudly carries on the chaotic legacy of her breed; Willow, my eldest, who enjoys judging everyone from her favorite perch on the cat tree; and Cheetah, my fearless little hunter, who may be completely blind but still manages to chase down any bug that dares to cross her path.
At the heart of it all, my mission is simple: to provide pets with the care, respect, and love they deserve. Whether it’s a routine groom or a special spa day, I strive to make every visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible—for both pets and their owners.
I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family!
